Grand River Construction was tasked to complete the various concrete aspects of this project. Some of these facets included: foundations, slab-on-metal deck, site concrete paving and curbs, as well as concrete polishing. The Swan Technical Arts building saw an extensive expansion and renovation which amounted to approximately 22,600 square feet. 

The Swan Annex facility at Ferris State University was a $30 million project which aimed to increase the size of the laboratory and classroom facilities for multiple majors on campus. Two of them in particular being Welding Technology AAS and Welding Engineering Technology BS degree program.
