Bellevue WWTP

The Edenville Dam Restoration project is a large-scale infrastructure initiative led by the Four Lakes Task Force to restore and modernize the historic Edenville Dam system following its failure in 2020. The project is designed to improve dam safety, restore water management capabilities, and provide long-term resilience for the surrounding communities.

Grand River’s work includes demolition of existing dam components, construction of new cast-in-place concrete spillways, piers, low-level outlet structures, training walls, control buildings, structural steel installation, earthwork, sheet piling, cofferdams, and extensive site restoration. The project also incorporates new crest gates, drainage systems, electrical controls, and dam monitoring infrastructure.

When complete, the restored dam will provide enhanced flood protection, improved operational reliability, and modern hydraulic control systems, helping safeguard the Four Lakes region while supporting recreation, environmental stewardship, and long-term community resilience.
